В чистом поле широком
Грудь на грудь две силы сошлись
Бог Семаргл с небесною силой
И змей с силой темною
То не огненный вихрь по земле кружил,
То Сварожич татей крушил,
Шел Семаргл с небесною силой
На силушку Змея, Змея Лютого
Стал Сварожич жечь силы тьмы
Змей топтать и копьем колоть
А головы их бросать далеко
В море синее, море чистое.
Как ударил он Змея Черного,
Змея лютого, многоглавого.
Завязалась тут битва грозная
Собирались тучи черные
И от битвы той затряслась земля
Содрогнулся под ней мощный Юша-Змей
Ужаснулась вся подвселенная.
Потеснил Семаргла лютый черный Змей
Затопил он мглой землю-матушку
И взлетел Семаргл на небеса
Ко Сварогу Небесному в кузницу
И взлетел за ним черный лютый змей
И вскричал он на всю подвселенную:
«Покорил Я всю Землю-матушку,
Покорил и вся Поднебесную
Был Я князем Тьмы,
Ныне буду Я всей вселенной Царь!
В кузне небесной Сварог с Семарглом
Бьют-куют плуг булатный
Говорят они Змею:
«Лютый Змей, повелитель тьмы,
Ты пройди сквозь три двери небесных
Станешь ты всей вселенной царь!»
Одолел Змей последнюю дверь
Ухватил Сварог Змея за язык,
Стал он бить Змея молотом,
А Семаргл-Огнебог запрягал его в кованый плуг
И сказали они Змею черному:
Будем мы делить подвселенную
По сырой земле проведем мы межу
Справа за межой будет Царство Сварога
Слева за межой будет Змея царство.
