Seasons in the Abyss (рус. Времена года в бездне) — пятый студийный альбом американской трэш-метал-группы Slayer. Seasons in the Abyss (Rus. Seasons in the Abyss) is the fifth studio album of the American thrash metal band Slayer. The album was released on October 9, 1990 on Def American Records. "Seasons in the Abyss" is the latest Slayer album with Dave Lombardo before his return in 2003 and the release of "Christ Illusion". In 1989, co-producer Andy Wallace was hired to record this album. Since the South of Heaven was not well received by the public, the participants decided to return to the speed and brutality of the album Reign in Blood, but with the preservation of the melodiousness inherent in its predecessor.
