Слышное издалека?
Ждешь,
Как землетрясенья,
Гула,
Рывка,
Толчка.
Лес пригибает ветви,
Дрогнул небесный свод,
Стекла звенят...

Просекою

Поезд ночной идет.

Wind, water, sand.
Suddenly there is movement,
Unclear yet,
Like a circle
Slow
In the clouds.
A wild bee swarming?
Rustle birch?
Perhaps, having broken through the barrage,
The river rushed from the mountains -
Groaning from tension
Soapy sides?
Maybe the thunder of birth,
Rocks of coastal crash,
Heard from afar?
Waiting,
Like earthquakes,
Goola,
The jerk,
The push.
The forest bends the branches,
He shook the firmament,
The glasses are ringing ...
And this
Prosecuting
Through the wind
The train goes at night.
