Исаак Сирин описывает путь христианина к Богу, путь освобождения: покаяние (обращение от рабства греху к Богу), очищение (стяжание свободы), совершенство (полнота любви и восторга). Суть подвига (пути монаха) – молитва – устремление души к Богу, а в идеале – Богообщение. Покаяние не есть уход от творения Божьего, а поворот ума, выход из "мира сего" как совокупности страстей, системы порабощения, "законов". Поэтому путь подвижника есть путь свободы, Бог действует в человеке "в таинстве свободы". И жизнь будущего века Исаак Сирин называет "отечеством свободы". В начале молитва – от недостатка, в конце – полнота радости. Молитва зажигает любовь, и в совершенном монахе любовь безмерна. Мало кто так сильно запечатлел евангельскую любовь и сострадание как Исаак Сирин: он молился за животных, за самого дьявола. И ад, по Исааку Сирину, - любовь Божья, которые грешники воспринимают как боль и страдание, именно потому, что они грешники – грех в неприятии любви, в ненависти к любви. В наше собрание творений преподобного Исаака Сирина вошли классический сборник его слов, известный в России как "Слова подвижнические" и новооткрытые тексты великого святого в переводе Илариона (Алфеева) и С. Isaac Sirin describes the Christian's path to God, the path of liberation: repentance (turning from slavery to sin to God), purification (acquiring freedom), perfection (fullness of love and delight). The essence of the feat (the monk's way) is prayer — the aspiration of the soul to God, and, ideally, God-communication. Repentance is not a departure from the creation of God, but a turn of the mind, a way out of "the world of this" as a collection of passions, the system of enslavement, the "laws". Therefore, the path of the ascetic is the path of freedom, God acts in man "in the sacrament of freedom". And the life of the next century, Isaac the Syrian calls "the fatherland of freedom". At the beginning of prayer - from lack of, in the end - the fullness of joy. Prayer kindles love, and in the perfect monk love is immeasurable. Few have so strongly imprinted gospel love and compassion as Isaac Sirin: he prayed for animals, for the devil himself. And hell, according to Isaac Sirin, is the love of God, which sinners perceive as pain and suffering, precisely because they are sinners — a sin in the rejection of love, in the hatred of love. Our collection of the works of Rev.
