Крепитация (альвеолярная крепитация) — патологический высокочастотный дыхательный шум, возникающий вследствие разлипания стенок легочных альвеол, содержащих экссудат. В отличие от хрипов крепитация выслушивается только на высоте углубленного или глубокого вдоха как короткая «вспышка» обильного мелкого треска, напоминающего звук трения волос между пальцами.
