Прп. Онисим Печерский (XII-XIII вв.), подвизаясь в Киево-Печерской лавре, затворился в Ближних пещерах. Святые мощи преподобного погребены на месте его подвигов. Память его совершается также 28 сентября/11 октября, в Соборе преподобных отцов Киево-Печерских Ближних пещер.
