Лунного света, окно открывая,
Пятна на стенах и потолке.
Полночь. На улице холод, ненастье;

Тело своё ты огнём согреваешь

Встал. Тело мечется из угла в угол

В доме твоём на полу к верх ногами
Пачки исписанных смятых листов;
Очередной недописанный рванный
Падает из твоей левой ладони.
Левой. А в правой ты держишь перо:
Капля с вершины вниз плавно стекает;
Капает жидкость на пол через стол -
Лист очень быстро чернила впитает
Свечка погасла. Светло. Солнца свет.
Тело твоё глаза закрывает;
На столе с краю поэма. Уже
Мысли для новой во снах пролетают.
