Свой дебютный одноименный альбом, спродюссированный самой группой и вышедший в 1992 году на лейбле Riptide/Heyday Records ребята готовили в течении четырех лет, записывая треки в гараже фирменной автомастерской Porsche, где Линдер работал механиком. Спустя три года появился альбом Surfmania на лейбле WEA/Atlantic, за ним последовал диск 1996 года Nomad на Milan Records для Entertainment/BMG и Guitar Noir, вышедший в 1997 году. Записывая альбом Guitar Noir, Aqua Velvets попробовали комбинировать свое фирменное звучание с различными музыкальными нюансами из произведений любимых композиторов, писавших музыку для кинофильмов 50-х и 60-х годов.
