В конфликте музейщиков и епархии из-за Атаманского дворца в Старочеркасске сегодня может быть поставлена точка. Представители Церкви должны дать свое заключение на проект мирового соглашения. Полтора месяца назад завершить судебную тяжбу согласились истцы. До этого музейщики и гражданские активисты оспаривали в Арбитражном суде передачу Атаманского дворца в собственность донской епархии. Музейщики обратились в Арбитражный суд после того, как областное Мин.имущества постановило передать Епархии Атаманский дворец и еще несколько зданий старочеркасского музей-заповедника. Чиновники ссылались на федеральный закон о реституции, принятый 6 лет назад. В соответствии с ним, церкви возвращалось все имущество, отобранное в советское время. Истцы попытались оспорить право собственности. Ответчики предоставили архивные документы. Тогда истцы заявили, что церковники закроют доступ для публики в музей, как произошло дом Жученковых. Когда-то он входил в старочеркасский музей-заповедник, но потом здание передали Епархии. Летом защитники музея согласились пойти на мировую. При условии: спорные здания останутся в федеральной собственности, зато епархия сможет рассчитывать на их совместное использование.
Сегодня, как ожидается, станет известно, что думают о предложении истцов представители Епархии.
