Старушки крестят грудь и ставят свечи

А батюшка вещает по-славянски,

Взирают со смиреньем христианки
На праздничный торжественный собор.
Здесь всякий ищет сердцу утешенья,
Всевышнему молитву вознося.
За прегрешения свои прощенья
У праведного Господа моля.
Но Бог молчит. Остановив мгновенья,
Заглядывает пристально в глаза.
И катится слеза поминовенья,
Солёная, горючая слеза.
