Когда вышел Израиль из Египта, дом Иакова из народа иноплеменного,
Иуда сделался святынею Его, Израиль владением Его.
Море увидело и побежало; Иордан обратился назад.
Горы прыгали, как овны, и холмы, как агнцы.
Что с тобою, море, что ты побежало, и с тобою, Иордан, что ты обратился назад?
Что вы прыгаете, горы, как овны, и вы, холмы, как агнцы?
Пред лицем Господа трепещи, земля, пред лицем Бога Иаковлева,
превращающего скалу в озеро воды и камень в источник вод.
Не нам, Господи, не нам, но имени Твоему дай славу, ради милости Твоей, ради истины Твоей.
Для чего язычникам говорить: где же Бог их?
Бог наш на небесах; творит все, что хочет.
А их идолы серебро и золото, дело рук человеческих.
Есть у них уста, но не говорят; есть у них глаза, но не видят;
есть у них уши, но не слышат; есть у них ноздри, но не обоняют;
есть у них руки, но не осязают; есть у них ноги, но не ходят; и они не издают голоса гортанью своею.
Подобны им да будут делающие их и все, надеющиеся на них.
Дом Израилев! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.
Дом Ааронов! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.
Боящиеся Господа! уповайте на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.
Господь помнит нас, благословляет нас, благословляет дом Израилев, благословляет дом Ааронов;
благословляет боящихся Господа, малых с великими.
Да приложит вам Господь более и более, вам и детям вашим.
Благословенны вы Господом, сотворившим небо и землю.
Небо небо Господу, а землю Он дал сынам человеческим.
Ни мертвые восхвалят Господа, ни все нисходящие в могилу;
но мы будем благословлять Господа отныне и вовек. Аллилуия.

Why should the Gentiles say: Where is their God?

And their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
They have mouths, but do not speak; They have eyes, but do not see;
They have ears, but do not hear; They have nostrils, but do not smell;
They have hands, but they do not touch; They have legs, but do not walk; And they do not utter a voice in their larynx.
Like them, let them make them and all who hope for them.
