Обращение великих художников к Библии никогда не заканчивалось только иллюстрацией того или иного сюжета Вечной Книги. Оно всегда предполагало личное осмысление. Художник выбирал библейскую историю, чтобы рассказать о себе, о своем времени, чтобы глубже постичь смысл происходящего. Язык образов Святого Писания был универсален и понятен для всех. Но теперь для нас этот язык наполовину забыт. Мы уже не можем так ясно, с листа, читать всё, что говорили в своих произведениях художники, поэты, композиторы и писатели прошлого. Мы более опираемся на чувственное восприятие, которое все же является только частью замысла, его внешней стороной. В программе «Библейский сюжет» делается попытка соединить «прекрасного разрозненные части», по-другому взглянуть на всемирно известные произведения искусства, рассказать о судьбе их создателей.

The appeal of the great artists to the Bible never ended with just an illustration of one or another plot of the Eternal Book. It always involved personal reflection. The artist chose a biblical story to tell about himself, about his time, in order to better understand the meaning of what is happening. The language of the images of Holy Scripture was universal and understandable to all. But now for us this language is half forgotten. We can no longer read so clearly, from a sheet, everything that was said in their works by artists, poets, composers and writers of the past. We rely more on sensory perception, which nevertheless is only part of the concept, its external side. In the program "Bible story" an attempt is made to combine the "beautiful disparate parts", take a different look at world-famous works of art, and tell about the fate of their creators.
