Ремнями сандалий истертые ноги
Ходили по пыльной, широкой дороге,
По узкой, затерянной в толпе тропинке…
Под вечер – в пыли, а под утро – в росинках…
Так мало покоя и отдыха знали!…

Кого эти ноги сверх сил и по силе

Ступали для нас ноги Вечного Бога!…

Отерты прощенной жены волосами.
