Любимая книга детства… перечитывал не менее десятка раз, как правило, в тандеме с «Островом Сокровищ». Захотелось вновь насладиться приключениями героев и замечательным переводом Чуковских, чудным классическим русским языком. Каково же было мое удивление, когда выяснилось, что сейчас многие не знают этот суперхит прошлых лет! Как мне кажется, «Черная стрела» - прародитель всех современных фэнтези, даже если авторы не всегда догадываются об этом.

I wanted to once again enjoy the adventures of the heroes and the wonderful translation of the Chukovskys, wonderful classical Russian. Imagine my surprise when it turned out that now many do not know this superhit of the past! It seems to me that "Black Arrow" is the progenitor of all modern fantasy, even if the authors do not always guess about it.
