Радость моя! Если бы ты знал, какая сладость ожидает душу праведного на Небеси, то ты решился бы во временной жизни переносить всякие скорби, гонения, клевету с благодарением.
Если бы самая эта келлия была полна червей и если бы эти черви ели плоть нашу во всю временную жизнь, то со всяким желанием надобно бы на это согласиться, чтобы только не лишиться той Небесной радости, какую уготовал Бог, любящим Его.
Там нет ни болезней, ни печали, ни воздыхания, там праведники просветятся как солнце.
Но если той Небесной славы и радости не мог изъяснить и сам св. апостол Павел, то какой же другой язык человеческий может изъяснить красоту Горнего селения, в котором водворятся души праведных?!

My joy! If you knew what sweetness awaits the soul of the righteous in heaven, then you would decide to transfer all sorrows, persecution, slander with thanksgiving in temporary life.
If this cell itself was full of worms and if these worms ate our flesh in all temporary life, then with all desires it would be necessary to agree to this so as not to lose the heavenly joy that God has prepared, loving Him.
There are no diseases, no sadness, nor sighing, there the righteous people enlighten as the sun.
But if that heavenly glory and joy could not explain St. himself. The apostle Paul, what other human language can explain the beauty of the mountain village, in which the souls of the righteous will plunge?!
