Эта ночь спасенья
Возвестила всему миру
Тайну Боговоплощенья.
Пастухи у стада
В эту ночь не спали
Святый Ангел прилетел к ним
Из небесной светлой дали.
Страх объял великий
Тех детей пустыни.
Он сказал им: «О, не бойтесь –

Людям во спасенье;

Вы Богомладенца
обретете сами
В пеленах Он, в бедных яслях –

Из высот небесных
Раздалось вдруг пенье:
«Слава в Вышних Богу,
на земле благоволенье!»
Эта ночь спасенья
Возвестила всему миру
Тайну Боговоплощенья.
