Любимая книга детства… перечитывал не менее десятка раз, как правило, в тандеме с «Островом Сокровищ». Захотелось вновь насладиться приключениями героев и замечательным переводом Чуковских, чудным классическим русским языком. Каково же было мое удивление, когда выяснилось, что сейчас многие не знают этот суперхит прошлых лет! Как мне кажется, «Черная стрела» - прародитель всех современных фэнтези, даже если авторы не всегда догадываются об этом.

Favorite childhood book ... re-read at least a dozen times, usually in tandem with Treasure Island. I wanted to enjoy the adventures of the heroes again and the wonderful translation of Chukovsky, the wonderful classic Russian language. What was my surprise when it turned out that now many do not know this superhit of past years! It seems to me that Black Arrow is the progenitor of all modern fantasy, even if the authors are not always aware of this.
