Журавль и Цапля – русская народная сказка о двух гордых птицах. Их нежелание уступать друг другу лишило их счастья. Когда-то они были соседями, и часто ходили друг к другу в гости. Однажды журавль посватался к цапле. Вначале она отказала соседу, а после пожалела об этом. Когда цапля попросила журавля взять ее в жены, уязвленный журавль даже не взглянул в ее сторону. Едва обиженная цапля вышла за порог, журавль побежал за ней, но гордая птица не стала его слушать. Говорят, они так и ходят друг за другом.
