Абдуллах ибн ‘Умар (да будет доволен им Аллах) рассказывал: «Однажды один человек пришел к пророку (мир ему и благословение Аллаха) и спросил: «О посланник Аллаха, какие люди самые любимые для Аллаха, и какие деяния самые любимые для Аллаха?» Посланник Аллаха (мир ему и благословение Аллаха) сказал: «Самые любимые люди для Аллаха – это самые полезные из них, а самое любимое деяние перед Аллахом Всемогущим и Великим – эта радость, которую ты приносишь мусульманину, помогая ему в беде или выплачивая за него долг или утоляя его голод. И поистине, приди на помощь своему брату-мусульманину в том, в чем он нуждается, любимее для меня, чем совершить затворничество в мечети (и’тикаф) в течение месяца. А тот, кто сдержит гнев в отношении брата своего (в Исламе), тому Аллах скроет его недостатки, и тому, кто сдержит свой гнев в то время, когда он хотел излить его, Аллах наполнит его сердце довольством в Судный день. И кто вышел помогать своему брату-мусульманину в его нужде, пока он не поможет ему, тому Аллах укрепит его стопы в тот День, когда стопы будут скользить. И поистине, дурной нрав портит деяния так же, как уксус портит мед»».

"The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:" The most beloved people for Allah are the most useful of them, and the most beloved action before Allah Almighty and Great is the joy that you bring to a Muslim, helping him in trouble or paying for his duty or quenching his hunger. And truly, come to the aid of your Muslim brother in what he needs, is more beloved to me than to make seclusion in the mosque (i'takaf) for a month. And he who restrains anger against his brother (in Islam), Allah will hide his shortcomings, and to him who will keep his anger at the time when he wanted to pour it, Allah will fill his heart with contentment on the Day of Judgment. And who went out to help his Muslim brother in his need, until he helps him, Allah will strengthen his feet on the Day when the feet will slip. And indeed, evil disdain spoils deeds just as vinegar spoils honey. ""
