Множество танцев языческих времен армяне сохранили и по сей день. Они носили в себе характер борьбы с злыми силами и духами. Такие танцы сопровождаются ударами ногами по земле, хлопками в кругу и вне круга. Один из них - это танец ПАПУРИ.
