ПОЗДНО И ВОВРЕМЯ
Нам повстречаться бы раньше на много лет,.
Там, где от нас от обоих шарашил свет,
Там, где мы с радостью гнали себя в тоску,
Лишь потому, что неблизко еще к виску
Темный, пахучий, седой подходил металл.
Ты бы, конечно, меня и тогда узнал.
Мне бы ты тоже стал близок еще тогда.
Если б мы оба заплакали, то вода
Смыла бы город, театр, кино, стихи,
Мы бы стояли растеряны и тихи,
Гордые собственной силой и ворожбой...
Что же так поздно-то встретились мы с тобой?

Может, и вовремя. Может, как раз теперь,
Мы - потускневшие свечи своих потерь -
Встретились и заплясали, как два огня
От сквозняка, что лютует на склоне дня,
Может быть, все это правильно лишь сейчас.
Ясно гори. Вероятно, из наших глаз
Капли не выжать. Но в сердце шумит прибой.
Видимо, вовремя встретились мы с тобой.

Late and in time
We would have met before for many years.
Where there was a light from both of both of both
Where we gladly drive themselves in longing,
Only because it's not unable to temple
Dark, odorless, gray came the metal.
You would, of course, I learned me.
I would also be close even then.
If we are both wept, then water
Would wash the city, theater, movies, poems,
We would stand confused and quiet,
Proud of their own strength and burning ...
What is so late we met with you?

Maybe on time. Maybe just now
We - sweatful candles of their losses -
Met and dug, like two fire
From draft, which leptures on the slope of the day,
Maybe all this is right now.
Clearly burning. Probably from our eyes
Drops do not squeeze. But in the heart is noise to surf.
Apparently, we met with you on time.
