Войска 3-го Белорусского фронта при содействии войск 1-го Белорусского фронта в результате глубокого обходного маневра сегодня, 3 июля, штурмом овладели столицей Советской Белоруссии городом Минск – важнейшим стратегическим узлом обороны немцев на западном направлении.
В ознаменование одержанной победы сегодня, 3 июля, в 22 часа столица нашей Родины Москва от имени Родины салютует нашим доблестным войскам, овладевшим Минском и содействовавшим в овладении Минском, двадцатью четырьмя артиллерийскими залпами из трехсот двадцати четырех орудий.
Вечная слава героям, павшим в боях за свободу и независимость нашей Родины!
Смерть немецким захватчикам!

Troops of the 3rd Byelorussian Front, assisted by the troops of the 1st Byelorussian Front, as a result of a deep detour, today, July 3, stormed the Minsk city of Minsk, the most important strategic junction of the Germans' defense in the west.
In commemoration of the victory won today, July 3, at 22:00 Moscow, the capital of our homeland, Moscow salutes our valorous troops, who took possession of Minsk and assisted in mastering Minsk, twenty-four artillery salvoes of three hundred twenty-four guns.
Eternal glory to the heroes who fell in the battles for freedom and independence of our Motherland!
Death to the German invaders!
