BEATLES FOR SALE

Oh dear, what can I do?
Baby's in black and I'm feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?

She thinks of him and so she dresses in black,
And though he'll never come back, she's dressed in black.

Oh dear, what can I do?
Baby's in black and I'm feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?

I think of her, but she only thinks of him,
And though it's only a whim, she thinks of him.

Oh how long will it take,
Till she sees the mistake she has made?
Dear what can I do?
Baby's in black and I'm feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?

Oh how long it will take,
Till she sees the mistake she has made?
Dear what can I do?
Baby's in black and I'm feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?

She thinks of him and so she dresses in black,
And though he'll never come back, she's dressed in black.

Oh dear, what can I do?
Baby's in black and I'm feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?

BABY'S IN BLACK
(JOHN LENNON/PAUL McCARTNEY)
IN BLACK IT
     (Equity-Translation)

Oh, friend, how can I be?
In black she, how can I not be sad?
Oh, tell me, how can I be?

In his thoughts everything goes in black it.
He will never come, but in black she.

Oh, friend, how can I be?
In black she, how can I not be sad?
Oh, tell me, how can I be?

With her I want to - she's all in thoughts about him,
And although there is no sense for a long time, everything is in thoughts about him.

Oh, how long I wait,
What can still understand that all for nothing?
Friend, how can I be?
In black she, how can I not be sad?
Oh, tell me, how can I be?

Oh, how long I wait,
What can still understand that all for nothing?
Friend, how can I be?
In black she, how can I not be sad?
Oh, tell me, how can I be?

In his thoughts everything goes in black it.
He will never come, but in black she.

Oh, friend, how can I be?
In black she, how can I not be sad?
Oh, tell me, how can I be?

BABY'S IN BLACK
GIRL IN BLACK
(JOHN LENNON / PAUL McCARTNEY)
Recorded And August 1964g.
This waltz with a bias towards the country, performed on acoustic guitars, one
from the latest examples of the collaboration between Lennon and McCartney. It was composed
musicians during one of the creative meetings that periodically
they were organized by them from the late 50's. A slightly sentimental text indicates
the possible authorship of Lennon, on the execution of this - the one hundred percent "Beatles" 1964
d. Similar compositions in which romance adjoins the global philosophical
gradually disappear from the group's repertoire for the following
twelve months.
