Но главный рабочий инструмент инспекторов на входе – рентген. Запрещенные и потенциально опасные вещества отмечаются разным цветом. В этом году поменялись правила досмотра. И теперь, в отличие от самолета на поезде в ручной клади можно провозить и металлические предметы, и аэрозоли, - пояснил ведущий инженер сектора транспортной безопасности региональной дирекции железнодорожных вокзалов Александр Гайворонцев.

Инспекторы входного контроля сменяются за пультом каждые 20 минут, чтобы не успело ослабнуть внимание и не уставали глаза. В противном случае можно пропустить что-то важное или наоборот увидеть то, чего нет. Например, сегодня в одной сумке баллончик антиперсперанта и складной зонт составили композицию очень похожую на короткий автомат. Ежедневно вокзальные рентгены просвечивают больше 12 тысяч сумок и чемоданов. В скором будущем попасть в здание вокзала станет сложней - без билета или временного пропуска не пустят, - предупреждает начальник вокзала «Ростов-Главный» Евгений Ковалевский.

Так же в планах - модернизировать систему видеонаблюдения. Первая ласточка – видеокамера, которая работает в паре с радиационным детектором. Когда чувствительный датчик фиксирует у кого-то из пассажиров наличие излучения, камера захватывает его лицо и ведет по залу. Одновременно посылается сигнал на пульт охраны. Добполнительно, в зале работают и простые камеры видеонаблюдения. Записи с них хранятся не меньше 30 дней."
Я же добавлю, что по правилам инспекторы входного контроля не имеют права досматривать багаж. Для этого они приглашают дежурных полицейских. А те в свою очередь могут лишь попросить пассажира показать содержимое сумки. Детальный же досмотр может проводится только в дежурной части в присутствии понятых и с составлением соответствующего протокола.
