Мише́ль Жан Легра́н (фр. Michel Jean Legrand; 24 февраля 1932 года, Париж) — французский композитор, пианист, аранжировщик, дирижёр и певец армянского происхождения[1]. Трижды обладатель национальной кинопремии США «Оскар»: за лучшую песню «The Windmills of Your Mind» («Ветряные мельницы твоего сознания») к американскому кинофильму «Афера Томаса Крауна» (1968), а также в 1971 и 1983 годах; пяти премий «Грэмми» и одного «Золотого Глобуса». Написал более двухсот песен к кино- и телевизионным фильмам[2]. В России в первую очередь известен музыкой к французскому кинофильму «Шербурские зонтики» (1964)[3].
Michel Jean Legrand (French Michel Jean Legrand; February 24, 1932, Paris) - French composer, pianist, arranger, conductor and singer of Armenian origin [1]. Three times winner of the US National Film Awards "Oscar": for the best song "The Windmills of Your Mind" ("Windmills of your mind") to the American film "The Thomas Crown Affair" (1968), as well as in 1971 and 1983; five Grammy awards and one Golden Globe. He has written over two hundred songs for film and television films [2]. In Russia, he is primarily known for his music to the French film "Umbrellas Cherbourg" (1964) [3].
