Предание среди студентов археологов гласит, что Legio VI Ferrata Fidelis Constans формировался в Причерноморье, поэтому эта песнь отдает дань памяти нашим землякам. Однако 6-й легион формировался в Цизальпийской Галлии (севернее Аппенинского п-ова). Просуществовал чуть более 300 лет с 52 г. до н.э. до 260 г. н.э. Учитывая ареал расселения праславян, есть вероятность, что наши предки в нем всё-таки служили :)

A legend among students of archaeologists says that the Legio VI Ferrata Fidelis Constans was formed in the Black Sea region, so this song pays tribute to the memory of our countrymen. However, the 6th Legion was formed in Cisalpine Gaul (north of the Apennine Peninsula). It existed a little more than 300 years from 52 BC until 260 A.D. Given the area of resettlement of the Pre-Slavs, it is likely that our ancestors still served in it :)
