Сто рентген за удачу это рассказ который повествует историю о двух друзьях Бедуине и Потапе. Они были из группы егерей которая отправилась в Зону для выполнения рядового рейда, в книге автор Вадим Филоненко представил сталкеров как егерей. По ходу их продвижения группа попадает под неизвестное мощное излучение и полностью погибает за исключением выше упомянутых сталкеров. Друзья решают во чтобы-то не стало добраться до своего лагеря. Это и стало их отправной точкой из Зоны и началом серьезного испытания. Во время своего опасного путешествия, выяснилось что друзья стали обладателями странных по своей сути возможностей. Один из них мог спокойно не только понимать мутантов но и разговаривать с ними, равно как второй из друзей абсолютно перестал чувствовать боль в любых её проявлениях. И чем дальше шли напарники, тем больше появлялось вопросов на которые им предстояло найти ответы ...
