Написан для Тамары Церетели по ее просьбе, однако передать ей Козин не успел – певица умерла. Козин записал романс на пленку, запись каким-то образом попала за рубеж и вышла на долгоиграющей пластинке австралийской фирмы "Кисмет" - видимо, речь идет о диске 1981 г. (всего "Кисмет" выпустила два диска Козина: "Песни прошлых лет", К-121, 1981 г., с концертными и студийными записями, и "Последний концерт", К-122, 1984 г., с записью концерта 1958 г.)
