Во имя Аллаха, милостивого, милосердного
1. Клянусь небом и ночным путником!
2. Откуда ты мог знать, что такое ночной путник?
3. Это – звезда пронизывающая небеса своим светом.
4. Нет души, при которой не было бы хранителя.
5. Пусть посмотрит человек, из чего он создан.
6. Он создан из изливающейся жидкости,
7. которая выходит между чреслами и грудными костями.
8. Воистину, Он властен вернуть его.
9. В тот день подвергнут испытанию все тайны,
10. и тогда не будет у него ни силы, ни помощника.
11. Клянусь возобновляющим дожди небом!
12. Клянусь раскалываемой землей!
13. Это – Слово различающее,
14. а не шутка.
15. Они замышляют козни,
16. и Я замышляю козни.
17. Предоставь же неверующим отсрочку, помедли с ними недолго!

1. By the sky and the night traveler!
2. How could you know what a night traveler is?
3. It is a star piercing the heavens with its light.
4. There is no soul under which there would be no guardian.
5. Let the man see what he is made of.
6. It is created from a pouring liquid,
7. Which comes out between the loins and breastbones.
8. Verily He has power to bring it back.
9. That day all the secrets are tested,
10. and then he will not have any strength, no helper.
11. By the resuming rain the sky!
12. By the cracking earth!
13. This is a Word that distinguishes,
14. and not a joke.
15. They plot,
16. And I plot intrigues.
17. Give the unbelievers the respite, do not hesitate with them for long!
