Some of his major orchestral works, including Enigma Variations (Eng. & Quot; Enigma & quot; Variations) and "Ceremonial and Ceremonial Marches" (eng. Pomp and Circumstance Marches), were widely recognized. He is also the author of oratorios, symphonies, chamber music, instrumental concerts and songs. In 1924 he was appointed Master of Royal Music.
