I went halfway around the world the beauty and sorrow contemplating ,
Noisy din of cities and vast deserts of silence.
And in the depths of all the ills and misfortunes of human drowning ,
I paid only their prayers to the Creator !
I chose poverty and wanderings became a brother to me .
Sky darkness hid me his .
I read the banner at dawn and at sunset
I always knew I was not alone one.
There, beyond the Earth ,
Waiting for us wonderful worlds .
Thou depart to the remembrance of ships
In the harbor of happiness, in a haven of peace and love.
