1. Каждый человек, идущий по Пути вечности, упражняющийся в сосредоточении, встречает три ловушки, которые невозможно пройти, если нет безграничной воли, веры, знания и мужества.
2. Первая – опьянение блаженством, дающее человеку Пути ложное чувство совершенства и иллюзию завершения Пути.
3. Вторая – захваченность ясностью тонких грез, заставляющая ученика думать, будто он действительно нашел нечто ценное. Она отсекает любую возможность идти дальше к абсолютной свободе, заставляя увязнуть в ощущении своей мудрости и непогрешимости.
4. Третья – гипнотизирующее дыхание пустотной бездны, которая пытается сделать человека безвольным, обесценивает весь его прошлый опыт, дает безграничную апатию и безразличие, уравнивая все. Кто уступил ее гипнотизирующему взгляду, идет в нее, как в черную пасть, и остается там до конца жизни, утрачивая способность идти по Пути дальше.
