1 В конец, псалом Давиду
(К исполнению. Псалом Давида.)
2 Доколе, Господи, забудеши мя до конца? Доколе отвращаеши лице Твое от менe?
(Доколе, Господи, будешь забывать меня до конца? Доколе будешь отвращать лицо Твоё от меня?)
3 Доколе положу советы в души моей, болезни в сердце моем день и нощь? Доколе вознесется враг мой на мя?
(Доколе мне слагать советы в душе моей, скорби – в сердце моём день и ночь? Доколе будет возноситься мой враг надо мной?)
4 Призри, услыши мя, Господи Боже мой, просвети oчи мои, да не когда усну в смерть,
(Взгляни, услышь меня, Господи, Боже мой, просвети очи мои, да не усну я смертным сном,)
5 да не когда речет враг мой, укрепихся на него.
(да не скажет враг мой: "Я укрепился против него".)
6 Стужающии ми возрадуются, аще подвижуся.
( Теснящие меня возрадуются, если я поколеблюсь,)
7 Аз же на милость Твою уповах, возрадуется сердце мое о спасении Твоем, воспою Господеви благодеявшему мне и пою имени Господа Вышняго.
(но я на милость Твою уповаю. Возрадуется сердце моё о спасении Твоём: буду петь Господу, облагодетельствовавшему меня, и воспою имени Господа Всевышнего.)
