1 Воспойте Господу песнь новую! Восхваляет Его сонм праведных!
2 Да возвеселится Израиль о Творце своем, да возрадуются сыны Сиона о Царе своем!
3 Да восхвалят имя Его хором, под звуки тимпана и псалтири да поют Ему!
4 Ибо Господь благоволит к народу Своему, вознесет кротких и дарует им спасение.
5 Возликуют праведники во славе и возрадуются в обителях Господних на ложах своих.
6 Славословие Богу в устах у них, и мечи обоюдоострые в руках у них,
7 Чтоб сотворили они возмездие народам, наказание племенам;
8 Свяжут их царей цепями, и вельмож их — оковами железными;
9 Совершат суд предназначенный. Тогда будут прославлены праведники Его!

6 The glory of God in their mouths, and the two swords are two-edged in their hands,
7 That they may make retribution to the nations, punishment to the tribes;
8 The kings of their kings shall bind them with chains, and their princes shall be bound with iron;
