Как будто в бурях есть покой!

In the sea blue fog. -
What is he looking for in a distant country?
What did he throw in his native land?
Waves play, the wind blows
And the mast bends and hides;
Alas! - he is not looking for happiness
And not running from happiness! -
Under it a stream of brighter blue
Above him a ray of sunshine golden
And he, rebellious, asks for the storm
As if there was peace in the storms!
