Мы восхваляем восемь рук, три глаза (Солнце, Луна и Агни – как правый и левый, и третий глаз, соответственно) Господа Махамритьюнджая. Он сидит, скрестив ноги, в позе лотоса (падмасане). Он держит два Кумбха (сосуда для воды) двумя нижними руками и двумя верхними руками окропляет водой Свою собственную голову. Две других нижних руки держат благоприятный Калаш (сосуд, содержащий воду пяти рек и т.п.) в центре ног. Остальные две руки – с Рудракша и Мрига-мудра. Амрита (нектар), капающий с лунного полумесяца на Его голову делает все Его тело влажным. Дочь горного короля (Химават – Хималайа) сидит около Него.
