Памятник погибшим солдатам поставят в Кумженской роще. Он появится рядом с братскими могилами и мемориалом. Инициатива принадлежит российскому военно-исторического сообществу. Как рассказал нам руководитель объединения Миус-фронт Андрей Кудряков, это будет бронзовый солдат со склонённой головой и оружием в руках.

Он состоит из четырёх стел славы, памятных плит и центрального монумента «Штурм». Братская могила расположена рядом: в ней перезахоранивают солдат, найденных поисковыми отрядами в местах былых сражений. Сейчас там покоятся останки примерно двух тысяч советских военнослужащих.
