Мы долго выбирали между «Radio Silence» и песней «The Postcard» с того же альбома. Выбор был сложным, потому что обе песни нам очень нравятся. Решение пришло неожиданно. Когда папа нашего вокалиста (давний поклонник творчества БГ) узнал, что мы планируем записать кавер на одну из этих песен, он посоветовал выбрать именно «Radio Silence». Это было то самое авторитетное мнение, которого нам не хватало для правильного выбора.
Удивительно, но когда мы уже записали кавер и захотели узнать больше о «Radio Silence», мы наткнулись на цитату из воспоминаний БГ об этом альбоме. В ней перечисляются причины, по которым критики в России не любят «Radio Silence», среди них называются две, которые делают этот альбом нашим любимым альбомом в дискографии БГ: «не похоже на Аквариум» и «вообще не по-митьковски». Лучше о причинах нашей любви к этому альбому и не скажешь!
