"Человек - мыслящее существо, но вершин он достигает, если не рассчитывает и не размышляет. Если это удается, человек и думает, и не думает. Он думает, как дождь падающий с неба; он думает, как волны, носящиеся по морю; он думает, как звезды, освещающие ночное небо, как листья, которые распускаются под теплым весенним ветром. На самом деле, это он сам - и дождь, и море, и звезды, и лист".
Так сказал автор множества книг по Зэну Дайсецу Тейтаро Судзуки. Но если эти слова кажутся череcчур поэтичными и малоприменимыми к жизни, можно сказать по другому.
Мы привыкли мыслить готовыми концепциями; как нас научили, так мы и видим мир. Но в каждом из нас есть сознание, единое со всей Вселенной; как говорил апостол Павел: "внутренний Христос". Вот это и назычвается "сознание Будды", "дзогчен", или попросту - "единением с Богом".
Великий мистик Мейстер Экхарт сказал когда-то: "Бог к нам близок, но мы далеки. Бог внутри, но мы снаружи. Бог в нас дома, но мы чужие!"
Мы стали чужими Богу, потому что все время придумываем, что Он - не здесь, что мы - отдельно от Него. Перестать придумывать - это и есть Зэн.

We are used to thinking in pre-made concepts; as we were taught, so we see the world. But in each of us there is a consciousness that is one with the whole Universe; as the apostle Paul said: "the inner Christ." This is called "Buddha consciousness", "Dzogchen", or simply - "unity with God."
The great mystic Meister Eckhart once said: "God is close to us, but we are far away. God is inside, but we are outside. God is in us at home, but we are strangers!"
We have become strangers to God because we always think that He is not here, that we are separate from Him. Stop inventing - this is Zen.
