Господи, сделай меня орудием Твоего мира.
Там, где ненависть, дай мне сеять любовь;

О, небесный Владыка, даруй мне не столь стремиться

Ибо в даянии мы приобретаем,
В прощении нам прощается

Lord, make me the instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where grievance is forgiveness;
Where doubt is faith;
Where despair is hope;
Where darkness is light;
And where sadness is joy.
Oh, heavenly Master, grant me not to aspire
To be consoled, how to console,
To be understood, how to understand,
To be loved, how to love.
For in giving we gain,
In forgiveness we are forgiven
And in dying, we are born to eternal life.
